the video or read the step by step instructions below.

Installation Instructions

The AeroSpoiler should be installed as shown in the above video. If you did not watch the video please read the following notes before installing the AeroSpoiler.

Install the AeroSpoiler at 25% of the cord line as show in the video.

The AeroSpoiler must be installed on a clean flat smooth surface to ensure maximum holding power. You may be required to use rubbing compound and wax to prepare the surface on aircraft with older paint jobs.

Do not install the AeroSpoiler on rivet lines or areas of the wing that have gaps.

For maximum holding power wet the surface under each cup with a damp cloth.

The AeroSpoiler should be installed evenly on each wing.

                       Install the AeroSpoiler as Follows:

1) Place the first cup/receiver on the end of the wing. Push down and wiggle the cup until you feel it grab the wing surface. lower the handle to secure the cup. There should be sufficient resistance when lowering the handle to ensure the cup is properly secured to the wing surface.

2) Place the first blade into the receiver assembly that you just secured to the wing surface.

3) Slide the blade assembly into the second cup/receiver assembly and secure the cup as instructed in 1 above.

4) Repeat this process until the wing is covered. Some wings will require only three blades per side and others will require all four. If your aircraft requires more than four blades per wing please order the extension kit found on the order page.

“Caution”

Do not install the AeroSpoiler in temperatures below freezing. The cups will be frozen to the wing surface and could cause damage to the aircraft wing or the cup assembly.

The AeroSpoiler was designed to supplement any and all aircraft wind protection devices to include aircraft tie downs and chalks. Use every means available to secure your aircraft during adverse weather.

The AeroSpoiler was designed as a counter measure against adverse wind conditions. Installation of the AeroSpoiler does not guarantee that your aircraft
will not sustain damage caused by adverse weather conditions.

For more information on securing your aircraft during adverse weather conditions read FAA Advisory Circular 20-35C Tiedown Sense.
